The blizzard has hit and by all accounts its going to be a doozy! When we measured the snow in the yard around 7 P.M. we had a little under 12 inches and...... ITS STILL SNOWING! This is my type of day. Its the perfect storm. There is no where we have to go so we are free to just stay put and enjoy an extra slow afternoon. The house smells like coco, vanilla, and sugar. We are safe and warm inside while outside the snow is coming down, the wind is blowing and the temperatures are falling. I spent the day in my kitchen working on Christmas treats, Christmas music playing while the kids snacked away as they worked on their school work. This particular storm is supposed to last through Thursday! No one will be going anywhere tomorrow. According to the news, unless you are an emergency vehicle or a DOT worker, they don't want you on the road. Its a bonus day! Mr. may even have to stay home. Its takes a pretty big storm for that to happen.
