Outside my windows the trees are just starting to turn colors and the apples are reddning. According to the weatherman we are a month ahead of schedule in our weather pattern.
I am thinking about my daughter who took back to school today. She had so much spiritual growth over the summer. I am praying that God will continue to show her just how deep and wide his love for her is.
I am thankful for a smooth and uneventful move into the dorms. She forgot her usual box of items from home that I will mail this week but otherwise it went smoothly.
From the kitchen: Tuscan Italian Salad; romaine leaves with fresh tomatoes from the garden, fresh sweet corn from the local stand, freshly grated parmesan cheese and Italian dressing. YUMMY!
I am wearing a navy t-shirt with a green and navy patterned skirt and little gold flip flops.
I am creating this blog!
I am going to Sioux City to take my daughter to College
I am reading The Way We Garden Now
I am Praying that my father finds a placement for my grandmother who is unable to live on her own anymore.
I am hearing My son play his guitar and sing praise music to his Lord
Around the house schoolwork is being finished up.
One of my favorite things crawling in bed at night in between sun dried sheets!
A few plans for the rest of the week: My nieces are coming to spend the night and two days. School is in full swing and I have to get groceries!
A picture worth sharing at the top of the page- my son jammin to his guitar!
