FOR TODAY Monday August 19, 2008
Outside My Window... tomatoes are ripening! We have enough to make the famous Sturm family salsa and there is another 100 plus on the vines.
I am thinking... about how I need a great recipe for tomato sauce
I am thankful for... being at home! I am experiencing a time of refreshment and encouragement. I am so thankful to be at home!
From the kitchen... still eating all the left overs from a weekend baking spree which included Cinnamon rolls, zucchini bread and chocolate drop cookies!
I am wearing... a white shirt and denim skirt

I am creating... lesson plans as our home school as started.
I am going... to play with my nieces who are visiting today.
I am reading... Raising Unselfish Children in a Selfish World
I am hoping... to get some sleep as we are on Olympic watch! Everyone is exhausted!
I am hearing... Beth Moores Study on Romans via oneplace.com
Around the house... I got all the painting things out over two weeks ago to paint the mainfloor bathroom ceiling and it is still not done. I was hoping to make time for it this week but I don't think that is going to happen.
One of my favorite things... the encouragement and joy I get from meeting other people online who share my same commitment and joy at being a wife at home!
A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week: Our sons fitness class starts Tuesday. I have to order new glasses and contacts as well as order safety sports glasses for our son. My daughter needs to pick up a birthday gift and party favors for a friends birthday party this weekend and my husband and I are going away for an overnight to a friends beach house! I can't remember the last time we went away just the two of us. We also are preparing to move our daughter back to school.
Here is picture thought I am sharing... It is at the top of the page because I could not make it go here! This a picture of one of my ferns. The pot and fern weight about 80 pounds. My husband got them for me a year ago in May and they have quickly become my favorite things. They have also tripled in size. My children laugh that I love the ferns more than them! When we traveled in the spring I left more instructions for there care than I did for all the other pets!
The simple womans daybook is suppose to be posted on Monday but I finally had time to figure out all the details and I did not want to wait until next Monday so I recreated my Monday. To learn more about the simple womans daybook visit her at the link below.
