Simple Woman's Daybook

Outside My Window

The snow has melted! We can actually see grass under the remains of salt and sand. As much as I love the snow and have enjoyed winter this year, even I was excited to see green!

I am thinking

about Job's wife. Job 2 vs 9. She tells her husband to kill himself. To curse God and die. Wow. As Job said in verse 10, what a foolish woman! We have great opportunity as wives to be blessing to our husbands. While most of us would never suggest that our spouses commit suicide how often do our words slay them?

From the Learning Room

I am all caught up on grading and have worked ahead on study guides for life pac and history so that is done! Does that ever feel good! We have just a couple weeks left before we travel. Several activities are wrapping up. Today is our last day of co-op. We only have 1 more writing class left. It will be nice to have a little more breathing space in our schedule.

Around the house

I keep fussing with this one chair. I can't decide if it looks better straight out or in the corner. I seem to leave it one way or the other for about a week and then move it again, not quite satisfied.

A few plans for the rest of the week
It is spring break week for the rest of the world so a couple of our activities are cancelled but for the most part the beat marches on. We also have an afternoon quilting this week where we should almost finish our first quilt!

One of my favorite things
Is Mr.s ability to fix random things like this tape cassett!
