This country needs revival!

On the recommendation of a friend, I visited whitehouse.gov this morning. My reaction to the election, the swearing in of President Obama and his first 100 hundred days in office has been that of an ostrich. I have stuck my head in the sand and have intentionally remained as blissfully unaware as possible. This is, of course, semi impossible as friends who do not feel this way keep pulling my head out of the sand to fill me in on the most horrendous of details. One day last week I was dropping my dear sons friend of at his home and the parent came out asking me if I had seen the Obama had reinstated the money for abortions over seas. Last night another friend informed that all information pertaining to right to life information had been removed from the white house web sight. I had not been to this web sight since before the election when we were studying U.S. Government. So, out of morbid curiosity off I went for a visit to this sight. It is almost a physical pain in my chest, the weight of the sins of this country against God. What type of policies are being sent forth by this administration? Here is a sampling taken directly from the web sight.

"In the United States, the percentage of women diagnosed with AIDS has quadrupled over the last twenty years. Today, women account for more than one quarter of all new HIV/AIDS diagnoses. Women of color are especially hard hit: In 2004, HIV infection was the leading cause of death for African-American women between the ages of 25 and 34. Around the world, 7,000 women are infected with HIV every day. President Obama has been a leader in the global fight against AIDS. In the Senate, he introduced the Microbicide Development Act, which will accelerate the development of products that empower women in the battle against AIDS. Microbicides are a class of products currently under development that women apply topically to prevent transmission of HIV and other infections. "

"Supporting Stem Cell Research: President Obama and Vice President Biden believe that we owe it to the American public to explore the potential of stem cells to treat the millions of people suffering from debilitating and life-threatening diseases. Obama is a co-sponsor of the Stem Cell Research Enhancement Act of 2007, which will allow research of human embryonic stem cells derived from embryos donated (with consent) from in vitro fertilization clinics. These embryos must be deemed in excess and created based solely for the purpose of fertility treatment.

Reproductive Choice

Supports a Woman's Right to Choose: President Obama understands that abortion is a divisive issue, and respects those who disagree with him. However, he has been a consistent champion of reproductive choice and will make preserving women's rights under Roe v. Wade a priority in his Administration. He opposes any constitutional amendment to overturn the Supreme Court's decision in that case.

Preventing Unintended Pregnancy: President Obama was an original co-sponsor of legislation to expand access to contraception, health information, and preventive services to help reduce unintended pregnancies. Introduced in January 2007, the Prevention First Act will increase funding for family planning and comprehensive sex education that teaches both abstinence and safe sx methods. The Act will also end insurance discrimination against contraception, improve awareness about emergency contraception, and provide compassionate assistance to rape victims. "

"Expanding Early Childhood Education: President Obama has been a champion of early childhood education since his years in the Illinois legislature, where he led the effort to create the Illinois Early Learning Council. He introduced a comprehensive "Zero to Five" plan to provide critical support to young children and their parents by investing $10 billion per year to create: Early Learning Challenge Grants to stimulate and help fund state "zero to five" efforts; quadruple the number of eligible children for Early Head Start, increase Head Start funding, and improve quality for both; work to ensure all children have access to pre-school; provide affordable and high-quality child care that will promote child development and ease the burden on working families; and create a Presidential Early Learning Council to increase collaboration and program coordination across federal, state, and local levels. "

"Expand High-Quality After school Opportunities: Barack Obama and Joe Biden will double funding for the main federal support for after school programs, the 21st Century Learning Centers program, to serve one million more children. They will include measures to maximize performance and effectiveness across grantees nationwide. "

"Support Parents with Young Children: Barack Obama and Joe Biden will expand programs like the successful Nurse-Family Partnership to all low-income, first-time mothers. The Nurse-Family Partnership provides home visits by trained registered nurses to low-income expectant mothers and their families. Researchers at the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis concluded that these programs produced an average of five dollars in savings for every dollar invested and produced more than $28,000 in net savings for every high-risk family enrolled in the program. The Obama-Biden plan will assist approximately 570,000 first-time mothers each year. "

This was all well known before the elections. Its really nothing new. The government wants your children in their socialist factories full time by the age of three. They do not want the children to go home after school but to offer an extended time of brainwashing after school to further separate your child from your family unit and any rights you might have to raise your child. In reality they do not want you to have children at all and they are willing to pay big money to help you prevent it. But, if you do get pregnant they will be sure to send a state nurse out to your house to evaluate you and your family so that they can immediately begin intruding your families privacy to determine your worthiness to raise the child they wished you had just killed to start with. They also want to help you have all the sx you want and help you to prevent the consequences of that behavior. Encouraging amoral behavior binds you to them. A woman who has engaged in that life style, had an abortion or has contacted a sxually transmitted disease is not going to vote pro family or pro life. To do so would be to admit sin and they have taught by the schools that there is no such thing.

I believe it was John Piper who said that we are always sitting around waiting for God's judgement to fall on America but the truth is that we are under judgement now. Every day I see this to be more and more true. The fact that we abort the youngest members of our society at a rate of one MILLION babies a year is a judgement. We are suffering the consequence of forty million people not being in country. The fact that our society cares more for what they can get for themselves than what they can do for their children in judgement. Christian families handing over their children to a pagan socialist government to be programmed for the states beliefs is judgement. We are under judgment now, we are reaping what we have sowed. We should be on our knees praying for revival!
