Things I Wonder About

So, I am driving along and there it is. A shoe in the road. It might be a tennis shoe, a sandal, even a boot. There is only one, never a pair. It is usually in the middle of the road but sometimes on the side. It is common. I don't get it. I could understand it once, but I see it all the time. Where do these shoes come from. How do people loose their shoe in the middle of a road? Are their feet hanging out the car window and it just falls off. Is it common for people to hang their feet out car windows? Do people just throw a shoe out the window for no reason? Shoes are expensive. Who would do that? Is it some sort of gang initiation. Hey Joe, throw one shoe out the window of your car and you are a "shoe" in? These are all adult shoes. There are no little baby Nike's on the road. We are talking big people shoes. Where do these shoes come from?
