Major Pet Peeve

My family and I have been on the road for the last month attending various trade shows in various states. We have seen Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, Illinois, Iowa, and now Wisconsin. There has been no shortage of public restrooms along the way and although I hate public restrooms, they are a necessary evil. What I have discovered is that somewhere along the way people have stopped flushing the toilets. I assume it is because, like me, they are grossed out and have no desire to touch to the flusher handle. An understandable feeling and one I agree with. If this is the case may I suggest that said phobia is not an excuse to be disgusting and to leave the toilet unflushed for the next poor individual who has to use the facilities after you. Be a considerate person. There are two easy solutions. One would be to rip off a piece of toilette paper and use it to touch the flusher handle so that there is not skin contact with said germ ridden handle. The second option and the one I employee most frequently is the flush with the bottom of my shoe. Be considerate! FLUSH!
