Counterfit or Real?
Anne Graham Lotz told a story today on a local radio program about her mother who had once visited Scotland Yard. While at Scotland Yard, Ruth Graham spoke with a detective who worked in the counterfit unit. Ruth asked the inspector how he had gotten so good at finding counterfit money. Had he spent hours and hours studying counterfit moeny? The inspector told Ruth that he had never studied counterfit money, he had instead spent all of his time studying real money. The moral of the story being that the only way to know if something is counterfit is to know beyond a doubt what is real.
