Another New Idea

The state of Iowa has been busy lately with all kinds of legislation to undermine and supersede our rights while at the same time enforcing the rights of people who should not even have rights. Now, Senate File 210 is designed to run right over our 4Th amendment rights. If you have a new baby it gives the government the right to come to your home, access your home, and determine if your home meets government standards. (Government standards which may not be the same standards, you have as a family.) Based on their assessment they can then offer you services and recommend things to help you be a better parent to your child. The government now determines what makes you a good parent. Is the bible to graphic. Homeschooling other children a red flag. What criteria do they consider when they determine what services they think that you need? Are the services mandated, and if they are not mandated now you better bet they will be in the future. This is the foot in the door. Our fourth amendment right is there to prevent that foot from getting in the door.

Think big brother is not there. Think again. If all of that were not terrifying enough, now our 12 year old daughters are going to be forced to be vaccinated against a venereal disease that she can only get if she is sexually active. You do not get it from a toilet seat. As her mother, I am going to be denied the right to determine my daughters health decisions. That right began eroding years ago with mandatory vaccines for mandatory school attendance. It eroded when we allowed planned parenthood into the schools and school nurses began handing out condoms without parents permission. It eroded when the government decided that it was okay for 14 year old girls to get abortions without their parents knowledge. Our rights have been continually eroded and now it seems like we are on the ride down the proverbial slippery slope.
